Product Description
A TTO Ribbon is a narrow strip of material coated with inkor resin used in thermal transfer over-printing technology to producehigh-quality, durable, and long-lasting coding. It consists of three primary layers: the base material (madeof polyester, wax, resin, or a combination), the ink or resin layer, and the back coating.
33mm & 55mm TTO Ribbons are thermal transfer overprinting ribbons that are used as sources of printing ink for different types of marking systems like Markem Imaje, Videojet, Domino, TTO (Thermal Transfer Overprinter), Thermal Transfer Batch Coding Printer and many more. Offered ribbons are required during printing of labels and marking of various packaged products by applying specific range of heat. Offered TTO ribbons are also used for barcode printers. Black in color, 33mm & 55mm TTO Ribbons are offered in roll form. Ink of these ribbons helps to achieve high resolution printing effect. Moreover, these ribbons are useful for direct printing on packed items as well as batch coding on online labelling process.
Key points about TTO Ribbons:
1. Types: There are three main types of TTO Ribbons - wax,wax-resin, and resin. Each type varies in durability, print quality, andsuitability for different applications.
2. Compatibility: TTO ribbons are compatible with thermaltransfer printers. The printer applies heat to the ribbon, transferring the inkor resin onto the label or tag material to create the batch details, productdetails as well as barcode.
3. Durability: The choice of ribbon type affects the durabilityof the printed barcode. Resin ribbons offer the highest durability, suitablefor harsh environments, while wax ribbons are more economical but lessresistant to abrasion and chemicals.
